Purpose and Outcome
The EASEQuadrant® Factor combines experiential and
strategic learning. It is based on the principle that
our emotional conditioning and negative thoughts (our
behavioural-cognitive skills) are learned; the persistent
negative thoughts, moods, and behaviours we experience
as adults have their roots in the experiences and conditioning
of childhood. These emotional lessons are stored as our
blueprint of emotional memories.
We too often confront dilemmas as adults with emotional abilities
tailored to the past. We can, however, learn and improve upon
our emotional knowledge to enable us to use emotional abilities
well, to know and manage our own feelings and read and deal
effectively with the feelings of others. Acquiring this emotional
intelligence involves perceiving emotion, using emotion to
generate thought, understanding how emotions combine in relationship
transitions, and being open to emotions to effect change in
our lives.
The EASEQuadrant® Factor is a 2-day program of emotional
leadership development for adults designed to:
- Raise emotional awareness; being aware of both our mood
and our thoughts about that mood.
- Identify auto-responders; the automatic emotional responses
that trigger from events or stimuli similar to emotionally
charged events from the past.
- Provide skills learning to develop feeling via thinking;
use emotional abilities and cognitive skills to develop
articulate thoughts about new responses to our auto-responders
associate the feeling that you get from the auto-response
with a new way of thinking.
- Effect change for a life of ease.
Program Techniques
The EASEQuadrant® Factor is run over 2 days from
9:00am to 5:30pm with an hour and a half for lunch and
two tea breaks. Registration starts at 8:30am. Workshops
are conducted in private training rooms or in client organisations.
During the workshops you will be encouraged to participate
in one-on-one exchanges with the facilitators and with
group members, and complete individual and group exercises,
role plays, and an emotional abilities review.
Benefits of The EASEQuadrant® Factor
Ultimately emotional leadership is about changing our
individual auto-responders; to manage our emotions, and
the emotions of other people, better. By enhancing emotional
abilities individuals can effect transition in their personal
lives and in the lives of others in the home, workplace,
and community. The EASEQuadrant Factor program creates
successful individual transition, including change management,
revitalisation, and renewal.
